Community Standards
& Code of Conduct

Last updated: 24 July 2026  ·  Official language: English

"We welcome people from every background, culture, religion, nationality, and political perspective. What we do not welcome is behaviour that prevents others from participating safely and respectfully."

Our goal is simple: to build the most respectful social network on the internet. We encourage vigorous debate about ideas — but we do not permit harassment, intimidation, or abuse directed at individuals. Challenge the argument, never the person.

1. Our Philosophy

I Love The Money exists to create a space where people from all walks of life can talk openly about money, entrepreneurship, creativity, and collaboration — free from fear, harassment, and hostility.

We believe that freedom of expression and mutual respect are not in conflict. You can express any opinion, challenge any idea, and hold any political or philosophical view — as long as you do so without targeting, demeaning, or attacking other people.

These Standards are not a list of punishments. They are a description of the community we are building together. Moderators apply them as fairly and consistently as possible, and we expect every member to uphold them in the same spirit.

2. What We Encourage

💬
Respectful Debate
Disagree constructively. Present your case with evidence and reason. Change minds through persuasion, not pressure.
🤝
Generosity of Spirit
Assume good faith. Most disagreements come from different experiences, not bad intentions.
💡
Knowledge Sharing
Share what you know. Ask what you don't. The most valuable communities are ones where everyone can learn.
🌍
Radical Inclusion
Every background, perspective, and culture makes this community richer. Difference of opinion is a feature, not a bug.
🔍
Intellectual Honesty
Acknowledge when you're wrong. Credit others. Don't share information you know to be false.
🏗️
Constructive Criticism
Critique ideas, not people. Point out problems and suggest solutions. Build, don't just tear down.

3. Core Rules of Conduct

✅
Challenge ideas, not people
You may criticise any argument, policy, belief, or idea as strongly as you like. Directing that criticism at a person's identity, character, or worth is not permitted.
✅
Disagree without attacking
Phrases like "I strongly disagree because…" are always welcome. Insults, slurs, and personal attacks are never appropriate responses to disagreement.
✅
Protect others' dignity
Do not demean, mock, or humiliate other users. Satire and humour are welcome; cruelty disguised as humour is not.
✅
Be authentic
Represent yourself honestly. Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts. Do not pretend to be something you are not to deceive or manipulate.
✅
Respect privacy
Do not share personal information about others without their consent. Do not threaten to expose private information. Everyone has a right to control their own story.
✅
Post with purpose
Add value to conversations. Spam, repetitive promotional content, and flooding the feed with low-quality posts diminish the experience for everyone.

4. Prohibited Content & Behaviour

The following content and conduct is strictly prohibited. Violations will be actioned by our moderation team promptly and may result in permanent removal from the Platform.

Hate Speech Content that dehumanises, demeans, or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
Harassment & Bullying Repeated unwanted contact, targeting a specific person to cause distress, coordinated pile-ons, or any conduct designed to intimidate or drive someone off the platform.
Threats & Incitement Threats of violence — direct, implied, or thinly veiled — against any person or group. Calls for others to commit violence or illegal acts.
Child Exploitation Any content that sexualises minors in any way whatsoever. Zero tolerance. All such content is reported immediately to the competent authorities.
Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery Sharing intimate or sexual images of a person without their explicit consent ("revenge pornography").
Pornographic Content Explicit sexual content of any kind is not permitted on this Platform.
Terrorism & Violent Extremism Promoting, glorifying, or facilitating terrorist organisations, their acts, or their ideologies.
Doxxing Publishing the private address, phone number, workplace, identity, or other personal information of any person without their consent, with the intent to cause harm.
Impersonation & Fake Accounts Pretending to be another real person, brand, or public figure in a way that could mislead others.
Spam & Coordinated Inauthentic Behaviour Mass unsolicited messages, artificial amplification of content, bot networks, or any coordinated effort to distort what people see or believe.
Financial Fraud & Scams Fraudulent investment schemes, Ponzi structures, phishing, misleading financial promotions, and any conduct designed to defraud other users financially.
Harmful Misinformation Deliberately false information spread with the intention of causing harm, inciting panic, or deceiving users into harmful decisions.
Malware & Cyberattacks Distributing malicious software, phishing links, or content designed to compromise the security of other users' devices or accounts.
Copyright Infringement Posting content that substantially reproduces the copyrighted work of third parties without authorisation or a valid legal basis.

5. Enforcement

Our moderation team reviews reported content and takes proportionate action based on the severity and context of the violation. Enforcement actions include:

  • Content removal — specific posts or comments removed
  • Warning — notification issued for borderline or first-time violations
  • Temporary suspension — account access restricted for a defined period
  • Permanent termination — for serious, repeated, or egregious violations
  • Law enforcement referral — for criminal content, including CSAM, terrorism, or serious threats

Context matters. We do not apply these standards mechanically. A quote reproducing harmful language to report or critique it is treated differently from content that promotes it. We aim to be consistent, proportionate, and human in every decision.

6. Reporting

Every post, comment, and profile on the Platform has a report option. If you see content that violates these Standards, please report it. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team. You will not be publicly identified as the person who submitted a report.

For urgent matters — including threats of imminent harm, child exploitation material, or other serious situations — contact us directly at info@ilovethemoney.com.

7. Appeals

If you believe a moderation action taken against your account or content was applied in error, you may appeal by emailing info@ilovethemoney.com with the subject line "Moderation Appeal" and a brief explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. We review all appeals fairly and will respond within 10 business days.

8. Our Commitment

We will never use these Standards selectively to silence political viewpoints, protect powerful users, or avoid difficult conversations. The same rules apply to everyone — regardless of follower count, verified status, or relationship with the Operator.

We will be transparent about how we apply our standards. Where enforcement policies change materially, we will communicate those changes clearly.

Thank you for helping us build something better.
